Volunteers needed
Committee members are progressing well with the new kitchen adjacent to the hall with a very small band of volunteers. The help of a kitchen fitter or someone with experience of Howden’s kitchens would be very much appreciated to help to make more rapid progress.
These are the jobs that still need undertaking : fitting 2 x sets of corner wall cupboards, cutting holes in back of base units for pipework, cut down 1 base unit to fit, cutting down dishwasher waste pipe, cutting worktops to fit (including 1 corner unit), cutting out worktop for 3 x sinks and connection of pipework to sinks.
The Centre Manager, Maureen Richardson BEM, will be at the Centre on Thursday and Friday day or evening (January 24th/25th) if anyone is available.
In addition The Centre is asking for volunteers at the weekend at times to fit in with their availability.
Anyone who can help at all would be appreciated. A couple of hours will go a long way – any volunteers should call Maureen on mobile 07745 798337 to confirm
.
