Great night of entertainment
After the success of world musician Doudou Cissoko last year, The Centre is again collaborating with Spot on Lancashire to offer innovative events to local people in more rural communities.
The first of these events is a presentation by Rasa Theatre of “States of Verbal Undress” on Saturday 10th May at 7pm.
This is a performance by two actors taking the part of several people relating their experiences of moving to a new country or community and how people reinvent their identity but when caught off guard how their invented identity slips creating interesting resonances and the complexity of what makes a nation. It is both funny and moving and suitable for 12 years old upwards.
During the evening there will also be Spanish and Classical music played by a Guitar Ensemble, and at the end of the show a Question and Answer session with the actors.
