Great afternoon of fun
The outside skate park jam didn’t take place on Saturday November 28th because of rain and wind, but instead around 30 youngsters had a great time in the main hall watching BMX films on a the big screen, playing table tennis, playing pool, trying out giant jenga and trying to knock off cans in a tin can alley.
Part of the hall was set aside for scooter competitions and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the burgers and other food and drinks on sale.
There were competition prizes and a raffle, which the winners very much appreciated.
Organiser Maureen Richardson said:
” It was great to see the youngsters having so much fun indoors on a wet afternoon and we plan to organise similar events at other times in the year.
Skate park jams are always very much appreciated and we will definitely organise another one when better weather is likely.”
