Panto night a great success
The Adhoc Theatre company entertained a full hall of children, Mums, Dads and grandparents with their fun performance of the panto Robin Hood at The Centre on Friday December 16th. It was a super way to start the lead up to Christmas.
The evil Sheriff of Nottingham was great and Maid Marian very pretty. All the cast worked hard to keep everyone involved and amused but the star of the show was definitely the nurse played by Stuart Langhorn.
Halton organiser, Maureen Richardson, said:
” We are really pleased to bring these local productions to the village and we could see how much people enjoyed the show. This is a new theatre company and they were impressed with our stage and other facilities and we hope to work with them again in the future to bring live theatre to our Centre.
Through our raffle and refreshment & drink sales, we have also been able to raise some funds for our Centre to contribute to our programme of building upgrades.”
