WELCOME TO OUR COFFEE SHOP
We are pleased to announce that Coffee Shop is now open, with indoor seating.
We’re open longer hours for Bank Holiday Monday and Summer holidays – all week the Coffee Shop will open at 11am (10am on a weekend) and close at 5pm, with late closing on the Thursday.
We need lots of new volunteers of all ages to help run the coffee shop
Young people and Duke of Edinburgh Award volunteers are welcome. it’s something to put on your CV, and is good work experience. We have had many young volunteers taking part in this award over the years, why not carry on their good work.
If you know of someone who may be interested please pass on this information.
The days we need most help are on Thursday and Friday afternoons between 1pm – 5pm, for a couple of hours or a whole shift, and on Thursday evenings to help support a member of staff when the Coffee Shop is open til 8pm, a couple of hours would be great.
On Saturday and Sunday, between 10am – 5pm, volunteers are needed for a couple of hours, especially during busy periods.
There is a hatch so that staff and volunteers can use the main preparation area and additional kitchen space separately.
Please contact us for more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Centre on 811316. Centre staff will always be present while Coffee Shop is open.
Access to the Coffee Shop is via the side door on the decking with an exit at the rear of the building.
Please wear a mask or face covering when entering the Centre unless exempt due to disabilities or child under 11.
Since we launched the Coffee Shop in 2011 we have gone from strength to strength with a band of willing volunteers and weekend paid staff. Read what some of our volunteers have to say. People who volunteer at the Coffee Shop
Helpers enjoy volunteering and meeting customers who come and enjoy our picnic areas whilst watching their children play on the well equipped outdoor play areas.
